Today was a beautiful day for Tallie. She was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Watching a baptism always reminds me of the simplicity of the Gospel, but it is even sweeter to watch your own child take upon them the name of Christ and make those sacred promises. I've got good kids. I really am blessed that way. But, it's hard to believe that my little baby is already 8-years-old! She is becoming so mature and grown up.
Tallie's friend, Samantha, was baptized on the same day and we shared the program with her family. Tallie said that she felt "brand new" when she was done. Afterward, we had a big luncheon with all of Lott's family and a couple of Tallie's friends. It was a special day. Check out all of the pretty pictures.
